🌟 We’re excited to share the latest grants from our Culture and Arts Fund, supporting three impactful organisations in Türkiye! 🎭 For the 2024-25 period, in partnership with the Support Foundation for Civil Society (Sivil Toplum için Destek Vakfı) we are awarding £45,140 (2,003,100 TL) to three organisations working to strengthen the cultural and artistic landscape in Türkiye. 🎬 Actors Union of Turkey (Oyuncular Sendikası) will bring powerful stories of marginalised individuals to the stage, exploring and raising awareness of important issues like gender inequality, migration, and societal norms in non-traditional performance spaces. 🎨 Association for Communicating Social Good (Sosyal Fayda İçin İletişim Derneği - SoFI) will empower over 200 independent performing artists with skills in digital media and communication, creating a sustainable network to help them amplify their impact. 🎭 Theatre Foundation of Turkey (Türkiye Tiyatro Vakfı) will showcase Türkiye’s rich theatrical history through a curated exhibition and event series, fostering appreciation for theatre and advocating for the creation of a Theatre Museum. 🌟Exciting News!🌟Our Children’s Fund is awarding three new grants for children’s rights initiatives in Türkiye! For the fund’s 2024-25 period, in collaboration with Sivil Toplum için Destek Vakfı and Red Kite (Kırmızı Uçurtma) Giving Circle, 2,100,000 TL is being allocated to three civil society organisations. Turkey Mozaik Foundation contributed £31,500 to the fund in this cycle. 💬 “Access to affordable and functional prosthetics remains a significant challenge in Türkiye, especially for children. Using 3D printing technology, we create custom, cost-effective mechanical hands to address this need.” On this #InternationalDayOfPersonsWithDisabilities, we proudly highlight our grantee, Robotel Association (Robot El Derneği). 📣 The International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women reminds us of the urgent need to address gender inequality. 1 in 3 women worldwide experience physical and/or sexual violence in their lifetime. In Türkiye, over 350 women were murdered, mostly by intimate partners, in just the first 10 months of 2024. During crises, these risks rise even higher, leaving women and girls especially vulnerable to violence and exploitation. At Turkey Mozaik Foundation, we prioritise gender equality in all our grant programs. We partner with organisations that empower women's voices and ensure they have equal access to safety, resources, and opportunities for recovery. We stand united with every woman, organisation, and movement fighting for a world free from violence and inequality.
