Orders need to be in production by this date; meaning any drawings must be approved, payments received and processed, and queries resolved. For special shapes and custom colours please allow an extra 2 weeks. We also close our offices for Christmas within this period; we close on Friday 20th December and return to work Friday 3rd January. The main purpose of the role is to grow and develop the sales of window blinds and shutters in the following postcode areas: Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Staffordshire, Leicestershire, West Midlands, Warwickshire and Northamptonshire. You will be at the forefront of developing relationships through the identification, nurturing and conversion of prospective customers. An equally important part of the role is to visit existing customers to maintain and develop relationships and sales. Existing and prospective customers range from sole traders to large suppliers of blinds and shutters therefore adaptability and excellent communication skills are essential to succeed in this role. Ideal candidates will possess the following competencies: 🔹3+ years’ experience in a fast paced, target driven sales role 🔹Proven journey planning skills to maximise time with customers and potential customers 🔹Ambitious and a drive to succeed 🔹Ability to work independently 🔹Able to engage and present to directors and key staff of businesses ranging from one individual to 50 + staff 🔹Excellent organisational, administrative and IT skills 🔹Strong presentation, relationship building and negotiation skills 🔹Excellent communication skills – written and verbal 🔹Confidence in decision making and closing 🔹Full UK driving licence Full training will be given, salary will be dependent upon experience, benefits include a monthly commission if sales targets are achieved, company car, company phone and laptop with 20 days holiday per annum plus Bank Holidays.
