How I am ensuring I don’t return in Jan to an empty diary. Fill your pipeline whilst away over Christmas. The secret is by using the "Away" message feature. It allows you to manage your availability and communicate effectively even when you're not active. 𝘗𝘭𝘶𝘴, you can take it a step further and include a link to your call booking calendar, lead magnet, website, etc. Here’s a quick guide as to how to leverage the LinkedIn’s “out of office “ autoresponder feature: 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲: • Click the More icon at the top of your messaging inbox. • Select Set away message.    𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗨𝗽 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲: • Toggle the switch to the right to turn On Away message. • Enter your Start and End dates. • Customise your message to inform your connections about your unavailability (optional) and add a link / call-to-action • Click Save. ▶️ Away messages can be active for up to three months. ▶️ This feature is exclusive to LinkedIn Premium users. By setting an Away message, you not only manage expectations but also maintain professionalism and help yourself start the new year strong 💪🏼 📩Feel free to message me to find out what I give away in my LinkedIn 'Out of Office'  message ;) P.S. What challenges do you face when managing your availability on LinkedIn - do you still respond on holiday?

  • No idea what to post on your LinkedIn page? Not to worry, this simple trick can help you repurpose your content 👇 Why work harder when you can work smarter? If you’re a Page super or content admin, you can import posts from your organisation’s RSS feed, blog, website, YouTube channel and any other RSS-supported source to share in a post directly on your company's LinkedIn page. This means that if you already have engaging, shareable content, you don’t need to spend hours creating new content for LinkedIn; you can just reshare it. Here’s how to enable content sharing on your page and make your life easier ⤵️ 👉 Click 𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 and select 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴. 👉 Press the + 𝗔𝗱𝗱 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲. This is your RSS feed URL; however, if you aren’t sure what this is, you can add your URL, and the system will suggest the link for your RSS feed. 👉 Include details about the RSS feed, such as the title of your source and category. 👉 Decide how you want to share content on your page – you can either share it manually (this means you’ll be notified each time a post is ready to be published) or automatically (this means your RSS will automatically post new content from your external source, however, this is only available to a limited number of company pages). 👉 Click 𝗔𝗱𝗱. Currently, you can only add one RSS feed for each company page you manage, so make sure you choose one where you post a lot of content (and save yourself the hassle of writing your own content twice!). Did you know about this content-sharing feature, and will you be using it? ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ For further LinkedIn training & marketing strategies, please subscribe to The Link Tank®️ newsletter: https://buff.ly/4fD4Jlw 🔗I always welcome thoughtful invitations to connect 📞Book a LinkedIn marketing strategy call using the link in my headline #BusinessDevelopment #LinkedInTraining #EmployeeAdvocacy #LinkedInStrategy

  • Is your profile searchable? 👀 Not just on LinkedIn, but also on the internet? If you type into a search engine ’Melanie Goodman’, Melanie, Trevisan's Director, name pops up. The very first result... 𝗕𝗔𝗠, she's there! Why is this a good thing to be searchable? Being searchable means you can increase your professional visibility, attract more connections and grow your network. That said, you can, of course, choose not to be found on the search engines (by turning off your profile’s public visibility settings). If you do want people to find your LinkedIn profile on Google, Bing and other web search engines, though, here’s how ⤵️ ✔️ Turn on Your profile’s public visibility in your public profile settings. (To do this, head to the 𝗠𝗲 𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗻 on your homepage, click 𝗩𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗲, press the 𝗘𝗱𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗻 next to Public profile & URL, and move the toggle next to 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗲’𝘀 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 so that it is 𝗢𝗡.) ✔️ Invite and connect with at least one connection (if you don’t do this, you won’t be searchable on the web). ✔️ Add additional sections and information to your profile (the more information you include in your profile, the easier it is for search engines to index your profile and show potential visitors who you are and what you do). ✔️ Edit your profile regularly to keep it current. (Keeping your information and profile up to date is essential to ensure you stay on the results page.) Type your name in the search engine, and let me know if your LinkedIn profile pops up. ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ For further LinkedIn training & marketing strategies, please subscribe to The Link Tank®️ newsletter: https://buff.ly/3USqVQJ 🔗I always welcome thoughtful invitations to connect 📞Book a LinkedIn marketing strategy call using the link in my headline #BusinessDevelopment #LinkedInTraining #EmployeeAdvocacy #LinkedInStrategy

  • 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗞𝗟𝗘 💫 With AI-powered cover letter drafting! Over the past few months, Premium users have been enjoying using AI to help them craft flawless CVs, and now, to make life even easier, LinkedIn is rolling out an AI-powered cover letter drafting feature. Who can use the feature? The AI-powered cover letter drafting feature is only available to a limited number of Premium subscribers at the moment, although it will shortly be available to more users. How do you use it? Here’s how to access and use it: 👉 Click the 𝗝𝗼𝗯𝘀 𝘁𝗮𝗯 at the top of your LinkedIn homepage. 👉 Select a job posting you’re interested in and press the 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗻 (next to a prompt below a job posting) to get personalised insights about the job. 👉 You can ask questions and receive AI-generated responses in the Sparkle pop-up window. 👉 By reviewing your profile against the job description, the AI cover letter feature will draft a cover letter for you. If you don’t like it, you can ask AI to rewrite it with the provided prompts. Once you’re happy with the cover letter, copy it into a job application (or a separate document) and submit it. 👉 Click the dropdown icon on the upper right of the window to close the AI-powered feature. Writing a CV and cover letter has never been so easy! You know our stance on AI, so if you use the AI-powered CV and cover letter features on LinkedIn, ensure you do so cautiously. By this, we mean don’t mindlessly click send after creating your AI-powered CV and cover letter – ensure you proofread and edit it first. Have you used this new AI feature yet? What do you think about using AI as part of the job application process? ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ ∞ For further LinkedIn training & marketing strategies, please subscribe to The Link Tank®️ newsletter: https://buff.ly/3Oae5JM 🔗I always welcome thoughtful invitations to connect 📞Book a LinkedIn marketing strategy call using the link in my headline #BusinessDevelopment #LinkedInTraining #EmployeeAdvocacy #LinkedInStrategy
