    A whole year (and some) since we decided to take the leap… Although Josh and I started Tip-Top coming up to 4 years ago now, it’s now been 13 months since we both took the plunge back in November 2023 to take the business full-time. I was extremely fortunate to be in a great career, on a healthy salary, with plenty of nice benefits and all that jazz before taking the leap… which of course led to people around us (including myself!) questioning whether giving that all up was a wise move. Upon reflection, I feel this is probably why it took me so long to go for it… it’s not easy to go against the grain. In the end, we of course did end up ignoring the advice… and took the unwise move anyhow ha! We said to ourselves “come on… if we don’t give this a proper shot, we will 100% regret it - let’s give it a go for 6 months and in the worst-case scenario we can always try and beg for our day jobs back” Well… pleased to say, time has flown and we have made it to 13 months and even more pleased to say that we are still going… and going stronger than ever with a roster of clients we are super privileged to call our partners. In the beginning it was credit to myself and Josh, we worked tirelessly to get things off the ground but now it is simply a credit to our Tip-Top team of superstars that embody our mission of building great relationships and keeping our clients as profitable as possible – having a team that have this at the front of their mind in everything that they do is a joy. We have been super fortunate to find such great people along the way… because if we hadn’t, I am not sure I would be writing this post - the last 13 months has not been without its challenges and having a team all pulling in the same direction is instrumental in overcoming the inevitable hurdles. Very much looking forward to see what the next year has in store for Tip-Top. A big thank you to everyone who continues to support us.
