The Trin

Every year we host a Christmas Party for children who are less fortunate than others and since becoming a Foster Friendly business, it seemed quite fitting that this year we hosted a party for children in foster care. We had a disco hosted by Crazy Crew Party Planners along with hot dog, popcorn and candy floss supplied from Infla8-Hire and a special visit from Santa courtesy of Adam Blow with each child receiving a gift It’s amazing that as an organisation we can host events like this and help create lasting memories for young people to cherish A huge thank you to Winner Winner Chicken Dinner Competitions for funding this event, without donations like this we wouldn’t be able to do all the amazing things that we do. We hope all the children had a great time and look forward to working with you again very soon North East Lincolnshire Council

Of course it was our youth team Willo and Joe with their red bull fix So which staff member is next to humiliate? With quite a few to go, I bet they cannot wait The coldest staff members we know who could this be? Keeping the office nice and warm is definitely their priority

So now we move onto our youth work team, Laughing and causing chaos, always living the dream. To us in the centre they’re definitely dumb and dumber, Working hard this year, especially all through the Summer

A huge thank you to Katy and the members of our adult cooking class who today baked some delicious treats for our upcoming Christmas parties 🎄🎅🏼 The beautiful smells throughout the centre have been incredible and with staff having to sample a few bits, it’s fair to say that they taste just as good as they look! Massive thank you for the time and effort that has gone into today, we really do appreciate all your hard work and a special mention to Katy for all your hard work throughout an amazing year of cooking classes 👩🍳

🌟 𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 🌟 Our son decided he wanted to try football so back in september we picked the Trin due to its reviews and already knowing coach Liam/Willow (as coached our eldest son too) so we knew our boy would be in good hands. X was very shy when he first started, didn't even know how to kick a ball, but over the weeks he's thriving, growing in confidence, learnt some great new skills, his fitness has improved tenfold and he has the most amazing relationship with the coaches (especially Joe who "makes his day") and his peers but most of all he plays with the biggest smile on his face. X gets so excited about his saturday morning football he jumps out of bed at 6am every week raring to go, he also tells all his friends/ teachers at school about the sessions and is eager to try a half term course next year. Can honestly say its the best decision we ever made attending the Saturday morning sessions with the Trin, this has now become his happy and safe place, which means the world. Thank you for all coaching staff for allowing X to be himself and also wanting to learn more about him, his triggers, calming techniques etc to help him be the best version of himself he could possibly be. Inclusion, acceptance & understanding means everything to a neurodiverse family so thank you all for being the best mentors for our boy You guys really are credit to the community and the Trin #TeamTrin🖤

I’m sure he liked the post, it brightened up his day So now it gets harder, poems aren’t our thing, Let’s keep the countdown going and see what today will bring. Known in the centre for his love of food, and for once, we don’t mean Jude Don’t leave your snacks with this one, Always busy eating until every bit has gone!

This morning our Community Manager Kerry attended Beacon Medical Centre to take part in their monthly drop in session. A very festive morning spent with some amazing people and provided us with an opportunity to discuss some of the classes we facilitate and discuss our exciting plans for the next few months. This along with festive quizzes, games and home-made gingerbread was the perfect Friday morning. A huge thank you to Jayden for inviting us to attend and we look forward to joining in more of these events in the future 😊
