A MONTH OF ‘WAYS TO FEEL MORE HUMAN’ I have toyed with doing this podcast for a while and bought a Shure UK microphone a couple of years back which just sat in my cupboard gathering dust!  At first ‘Ways to Feel More Human’ was going to be a book but the feedback I got from publishers was that whilst it was much needed, the idea was neverending. How would I ever condense it? So I decided to pivot the whole idea. In March I decided to launch it as a podcast because there will be never-ending interviewees - it’s limitless topic, and I know in our digital and over processed world that it’s more important than ever. I found a brilliant producer The Podcast Company as I had no idea how to start a podcast and picked all my guests that I felt would cover the key topics of the podcast for the first series: the mind, how digital us effecting us, creativity, nature, circadian rhythms, breathwork and our modern diets. It was vital for me they were real experts in their field. It’s been a huge amount of work and a massive learning curve - podcasts look so effortless but the detail that goes into it is unreal! It’s a mini TV show with intros, outros, recordings, videos, scripts, show notes. We have filmedit for YouTube and Spotify as well audio. I launched last month with the brilliant Jillian Lavender talking about the wonders of Vedic Meditation (I’ve had various messages saying you have signed up to see Jillian which is amazing), and also the wonderful Melissa Hemsley talking about how to un-process our diets. Next up this monday - the amazing and inspiring Willow Crossley will be talking about the power of nature in our lives and Russell Foster from Oxford Uni is talking about the importance of circadian rhythms.
