Fantastic new site in Victoria for The Alchemist Bar & Restaurant Ltd. Had the pleasure of visiting it last week and it looks amazing - yet again showing their ability to continue to innovate and develop the brand and client experience. Also worth noting Hannah Plumb herself. People see The Alchemist as shiny bars with amazing cocktails, food and smoke. While that's definitely a key part of it, the business wouldn't be what it is without its people. The Alchemist has an incredible positive and inclusive culture, allowing hundreds of people to contribute in their own unique way. The boring but important bit as that this is borne out in industry-leading recruitment, retention and employee engagement stats. But equally important and slightly more interesting is that it's just a great place to work, to visit and be entertained in. Massive credit to Hannah and the senior team for creating, developing and nurturing that positive environment. It's what makes the business!

Congratulations are in order over at The Alchemist Bar & Restaurant Ltd for Cassie Ruthven, who this week has achieved DISTINCTION on her Level 5 Coaching Professional apprenticeship this week! Cass has worked so hard for the past 13 months, with the excellent guidance of Yasmin A. and CVP Group. I can't wait to see what Cass achieves with this qualification, after already making waves with our leadership and mentorship programmes in the business. Cassie - you are bloody brilliant!!!
