Our colleague Ian is doing something amazing. Along with his wife Dawn, Ian has been running marathons and half marathons in aid of Footprints Conductive Education Centre. Based in Nottingham, this fantastic charity transforms the lives of children living with mobility and communication difficulties across the East Midlands. Through the support of Footprints, babies and children can develop the skills they need to thrive and achieve their potential. Ian and Dawn will be running the Clowne Half Marathon on Sunday 24th November, which will be their sixth sponsored run of the year! We can’t believe it! It’s been 10 years since Paul joined the sign shop production team here at Tennants. Paul takes immense pride in his work, and the signs he produces are always to an impeccable standard. When asked for some thoughts on his decade at Tennants, Paul said, “well, it’s gone quickly!” Just like his beloved Nottingham Forest, Paul is a Premier player and truly is in a league of his own (did someone say cheese? 🧀) Thank you for all your hard work, Paul. We so appreciate your dedication and are looking forward to many more brilliant years!

We are proud to partner with RBLI (Royal British Legion Industries), who run one of Britain’s most admired Social Enterprises. We are particularly connected to their approved Orafol Sign Shop, which is where veterans make the Unknown Tommy and Women in War Statues. To mark Remembrance Day, we have donated a pair of the statues to Nethergate Academy, who cater for pupils with learning difficulties and complex needs from across the City of Nottingham. These statues provide a physical reference point for staff when sharing the importance of Remembrance with pupils, as well as a tactile reminder of what our service people do for us.
