Yesterday, Stuart Culverhouse, released his annual 10%-ers report, looking at the number of #Sovereigns yielding higher than 10%. He counts 12 countries in the index as having yields of 10% or more, or are in default - the lowest in nearly three years. This is down from 25 a year ago and 20 at the end of 2023, when nearly a third of the index was locked out of the market. After a declining trend this year, the count has stabilised since September after the late-Summer rally in HY #EM bonds. We had the privilege of hosting 37 bilateral meetings with IMF Mission Chiefs and Resident Representatives from across Latin America, Central & Eastern Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia. These discussions provided invaluable insights for our clients.
