Excited to share that the Climate Programme at Tech Nation is currently open for applications.
The programme remains dedicated to supporting climate tech startups, between Seed and Series A in the UK, and for the first time, will be piloting with a few leading climate tech startups in Europe.
We are open to climate tech startups across key climate impact areas, including the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, restoring nature and biodiversity, reducing and eliminating waste, and wider technologies that play a crucial role in mitigating and adapting to climate change. We are open to solutions across hardware, software or life science.
Taking place between March and June next year, the programme will continue to focus on:
- Spurring the growth of climate tech investment and providing access to investment opportunities
This year, we have seen the first steady period of decline in global climate tech investment from £63b in 2023 to £44b this year. The programme is focused on changing this, by encouraging and facilitating more private investment into high-impact climate solutions.
- Spurring partnerships between climate tech startups and corporations
In order to safe-guard startups through the valley of death, the programme aims to facilitate pilot projects and collaborations between climate tech companies and corporations.
- Advocating for advances in climate policy
We will be supporting the new government, in advocating for the development of supportive climate policies in the UK.
We are fortunate to have support from leading entrepreneurs, investors, academics, corporates and policy specialists, providing startups with direct advisory support throughout the programme.
In its fourth year since, the programme has supported over 140 climate tech startups. Companies who have been part of the programme, have grown 2.5 times as fast as the industry average and raised over $1.5 billion.
The programme is free to join, we do not take equity and you can apply to join here: https://lnkd.in/epR-sPUv. Applications close on 31st January.
