He joined DHL Group in 2018 and played a key role in various decarbonization initiatives. From 2021 to 2024, he led DHL Group's Clean Operations Office, coordinating the development and implementation of the company's sustainability roadmap. Henrik's responsibilities included defining Science Based Targets, establishing a Sustainable Fuel Policy, promoting Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) use, and implementing a Book & Claim approach. In early 2024, he transitioned to DHL Express as the Director of Global Sustainable Aviation Fuels. In this role, Henrik focuses on sourcing SAF for DHL Express and driving the company's ambitious target of achieving 30% SAF usage by 2030." Dr. Rios was Director of ASA Fuel Services for 11 years, where he oversaw the operation and management of a network of 60 fuel farms and their 2,000+ into-plane operations. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, and Masters and Ph.
