Partner Elaina Bailes spoke to Commercial Dispute Resolution (CDR) as part of their roundup of #UK #litigation trends in 2025. Elaina discussed claims under s90/s90A of the FSMA 2000: “We have seen a huge increase in these securities actions in the last few years and there are a lot of cases running through the courts at the moment. A body of case law on key legal issues and case management decisions on how the English courts will deal with group claims is firmly emerging which, combined with investors continued scrutiny of corporate governance means they are gathering momentum. There is an active #funding market for those claims, too.” Read the full article (account required): https://lnkd.in/e7gFuS7E #Commerciallitigation #Disputeresolution
