We were delighted to be awarded Heating Brand of the Year in the annual Bathroom and Kitchen Update (BKU) Awards, the latest in a string of industry awards for Stelrad Ltd. BKU started life in September 1994 and enables buyers and specifiers to source up-to-the-minute product information and the very latest general industry new. Stelrad Ltd’s Head of Marketing Chris Harvey commented: “As a business we have stepped up our game in… specialist heating products for kitchens and bathrooms and now offer… the widest range of choices for heating in the kitchens and bathrooms sector. “We have a quality offering and an innovative selection available from stock that meets the needs of pretty much any application in the home.” #SRAD #Stelrad #radiators

Over the years, we have formed a variety of different partnerships with agencies, heat source manufacturers and other value chain participants.   The objective of establishing these partnerships was twofold – firstly, the production of more accurate heating designs, enabled through better data sharing, and secondly, the improved generation of leads for the business.   In response to the growth of alternative heating systems such as heat pumps, we have further increased our engagement with this market, including by forming a partnership with Renewable Energy Domestic Designs (REDD).   REDD is involved in designing the heating systems of the future, including contributing to the Energy House 2.0 facility at the University of Salford. In the heat emitter market, the full impact of decarbonising heating systems will take decades to be felt, due to long replacement cycles and a significant installed base.   Decarbonising heat sources is the primary legislative focus across Europe, which is driving a corresponding requirement for heat emitters compatible with low-temperature systems.   During 2023, we continued to develop our higher output hydronic offer and launched our first electric range into the UK market. Our multi-brand strategy has allowed us to manage the evolving dynamics of market channel evolution effectively.   As a result, we continue to maintain unrivalled access to all routes to market, including the traditional trade and distribution model, major DIY and retail outlets, and pure play internet operators.   We will continue to maintain and develop close customer relationships across our core geographies, investing in our leading brands as routes to market evolve and the distribution channel consolidates. Stelrad Ltd has achieved certification of Zero Avoidable Waste to Landfill from environmental solutions experts Valpak Limited.   Valpak Limited’s mission is to inspire businesses to do all they can to reduce environmental impact with leading data science and expertise – to create a better planet for future generations.   This certification follows an audit in April, which included a review of the company’s activities to understand where waste was created, documentation and data to confirm waste streams, treatment processes and a site tour to observe waste management practices on site.   David Martin Taylor, Stelrad Ltd’s Procurement & Supply Chain Manager, commented: “This is excellent news for the company and highlights once again our efforts to reduce waste going to landfill.”   #sustainability #SRAD #Stelrad #radiators

Stelrad Ltd was recently awarded the title of Supplier of the Year by PHG Buying Ltd.   PHG is one of the leading buying groups for the heating and plumbing sector, with fourteen member merchant groups with 357 branches and showrooms around the country. Its members have a combined turnover of £615 million and has 135 suppliers.   Stelrad Ltd’s Head of Marketing, Chris Harvey, commented: “We’ve worked really hard with PHG to deliver the products and the service levels they want to see for their customers, and to integrate our systems with theirs to ensure that communication and data transfer is top notch.
