Oh what a beautiful morning! Our November Netwalk was glorious, our Netdogs were living their best lives, we had coffee outside afterwards with rescued pastries from St Albans Community Pantry and Alex Standley wins the best wellies prize! Next month we'll be hitting the pavements to visit the amazing postbox toppers with Christmas goodies at Villa 2. We'd love to see you... This week's been a complete roller coaster here - how are you guys doing? (picture shows our wonderful Netwalkers standing in a line on a field with glorious autumn colours on the trees behind them. None of the Netdogs are posing for the camera, probably a bit miffed that they've been stopped on their mission in sniffing out everything. Amazing to be winners at the @BBC3CR Make a Difference awards last night for Green 💚 Award 🏆 against some excellent competition including our very our volunteers! 💙 we love reducing waste and redistributing food to those who need it and building a community at the same time!

Last night this happened… We attended the Mayor’s Pride Awards last night as finalists… 🌟 And we won in two categories!!🌟 Community Project of The Year & Inclusive Communities, none of which is possible without our amazing team of volunteers and the support from our cheerleaders 💙

Yet another fantastic amount of rescued, fresh food was distributed to those in need last week. One of our users recently shared their joy upon receiving their first delivery box... “Good morning, I had asked for some help, and given some details but didn’t expect to hear back from you. I arrived home to a amazing food package on my doorstep.  I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. I can’t tell you how much it is appreciated and how helpful it is at a really really difficult time. 🥲 thank you so so much. Xx
