Scottish Muslim Professionals Network (SMPN)

The Scottish Muslim Professional Network (SMPN) was established in 2019 and was created to empower Scottish Muslims to help them achieve their career aspirations. Our vision is to accelerate closure of the career progression gap for Scottish Muslim professionals and our mission is to develop and prepare motivated and goal-orientated Scottish Muslim professionals as future industry leaders. Since the networks inception, the forum has run regular events for networking and mentoring. The goal of the network is to ensure that all professionals receive: • Networking: Create networking opportunities for its members. • Learning: Provide development opportunities to help individuals build the skills required to help them in their career journey. • Knowledge: Provide additional resources to keep up to speed with current business and career trends. • Events: Host events on current and upcoming topics, to share knowledge and learning. • Mentoring: Create a mentoring programme to connect suitable mentors and mentees and encourage coaching.
