A busy day on Friday as we dispatched two of our scmPAL palletising cells utilising KUKA robots and a whisky cask unloading system. It really showcases our diverse customer base and system portfolio! Happy Friday to our network! We're particularly happy at the end of this week as we take delivery of the first 6 KUKA KR240 R3200 PA Arctic Robots that will form the basis of a large 12 robot sub-zero system we are working on. Another Whisky Cask Loading System is signed off and will shortly be on its way to our valued customer! Designed to safely load casks into trailers, the SCM cask elevator brings with it a host of health & safety as well as productivity benefits. We were delighted to welcome Barbers Cheese to our production facility for another successful Factory Acceptance Test! It was great to host their team and demonstrate the obvious health & safety benefits this system will bring. The two KUKA KR180 R3200 PA Robots equipped with Piab Group vacuum grippers make light work of the 20kg blocks of cheese. Couple this with the KEYENCE CORPORATION IV3 camera system for block orientation checking and they have a winning system! We can't wait to install the system so they can start benefiting from it.
