Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting a training day with Kineta Kelsall at School of Social 🤓 Our Creative, Paid, and Strategy teams came together for a full day of insights, group tasks, and learning. We specifically focused on creative problem-solving, the importance of data, understanding audiences and platforms, and how to develop a strong creative brief 💭 📊 🎯 I left the session feeling inspired and motivated, ready to reassess our current creative processes and consider how we can evolve them to achieve a smoother, better-informed creative outcome. A huge thank you to Kineta — her knowledge and enthusiasm really shone through and had such a positive impact on the team. What a week! 😅 On Tuesday, we announced the acquisition of Powerhouse. A creative content agency based in Leeds, delivering standout photography and film for leading brands such as Iceland, Yorkshire Tea and SharkNinja 🎬 Our strategy, paid & creative teams took part in creative strategy training hosted by School of Social. There were lots of insights to take away from the session, but a highlight for me was learning some tips & tricks on how to sell in the importance of a solid creative strategy to our clients 🧠 On Wednesday, the entire paid media team here Connective3 jetted off to Dublin, kicking off 2 days of with a visit to the infamous Guiness Storehouse and my first (and probably last!) guiness 🍺 On Thursday, we headed over to Google's EMEA HQ for a full day of training, talks, content creation and getting the glimpse into the world of a Googler! Hearing directly from product owners of Performance Max, Demand Gen & YouTube was so fascinating and we all came away with lots of fresh ideas to bring back to Leeds and to our clients across the globe 🌍 Finishing off the week with some management mentoring from Dale Carnegie Training, exploring our personality traits and how we can adapt these in our management styles was so eye-opening 💥 Oh, and to round things off a sneaky little promotion to Paid Media Team Lead- more to come on this soon 👀 And now for a breather, before we go again next week! 🥂
