    Job of the Week! Role: Senior Operations Manager (Mandarin Speaking) Salary: £Market Rate Role Duties: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal polices to mitigate risks. Develop and maintain relationships with correspondent banks in order to facilitate and ensure smooth working support and quick resolution of issues or concerns. Liaise with Business Development and Financial Markets departments to meet funding requirements and manage funds movements in timely manner. Lead projects related to the operational systems, ensuring their timely completion, achievement of objectives and cost efficiencies. Ensure smooth, error- free transitions during system changes or upgrades. Liaise with the Head Office and IT regarding the HO’s system issues and other business requirements. Supervise and lead team of banking professionals, providing guidance and support; Monitor and analyse operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions. Coordinate with external partners and stakeholders to streamline processes and achieve operational excellence. Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the operations team. Provide specialist knowledge and support to the Operations function to ensure deliverables are achieved to meet business requirements.     Job of the Week! Role: Senior Risk Control Officer – Banking (Mandarin speaking) Salary: £Market Rate Role Duties: Co-ordinate with Senior Management (Executive Committee) to develop, implement and maintain a strategic plan to prevent or mitigate operational risk. Take the lead role in Head Office projects, initiatives and reporting, including but not limited to operational risk management reporting and projects. Pro-actively challenge the first line, second line and other departments’ identification and management of operational risk. Assist departments to identify and manage operational risk in their respective activities, escalating to Senior Management for risk-acceptance when required. Develop and maintain effective operational risk management policies and standards. Maintain the operational risk incident management and reporting framework, including operational risk root cause investigation, identification, assessment and countermeasures, and promotion of the risk-acceptance process. Lead and co-ordinate the Bank-wide Operational Risk Control Self-Assessment, and maintain the Risk Register. Role: Group Risk Manager – Insurance Salary: £Market Rate Role Duties: Responsible for the effective maintenance and application of the Group’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) system with specific responsibility for the ongoing development of key aspects of the ERM framework.. Input into the development of all aspects of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework to meet the demands of a rapidly growing global business. Responsible for the line management of a Group Risk Analyst. Mentor a Group Risk Analyst as part of succession and contingency planning. Conduct risk analysis through monitoring of risk events and emerging risks for specific business areas of the Business and its international subsidiaries, as agreed with the Group Risk Director. Partner relevant, agreed business areas, providing support, advice and challenge in the execution of their risk management responsibilities to enhance their risk management maturity and further embed risk management culture. Ensure that risk issues are being appropriately evaluated, investigated and resolved. Analyse relevant risk data and implement appropriate reporting to enable senior management to keep appraised of risk issues. Manage and ensure effective communication of the status of risks, controls and exposures to all relevant stakeholders, Boards & Committees as agreed with the Group Risk Director. Assist in annually reviewing the ERM methodologies, tools and techniques. Role: Operational Resilience Analyst (3 month contract)- Banking Salary: £Market Rate Role Duties: Assist in delivering the bank's Operational Resilience objectives in line with UK regulations and guidelines. Collaborate with the Operational Resilience Manager on key initiatives related to resilience. Help maintain and update Important Business Services (IBS), ensure proper mapping, and establish impact tolerances for each business service. Serve as the point of contact and subject matter expert (SME) for resilience queries and provide advice and guidance to business service owners. Build and maintain strong relationships with Business Service Owners (BSOs) and other key stakeholders across International to ensure alignment with resilience requirements. Assist in the development and execution of severe but plausible scenario tests, such as desk-based exercises, simulations, and data analysis. Support post-test activities, including producing detailed reports, identifying vulnerabilities, and working with BSOs to document and assess contingency plans. Role: Financial Institutions Assistant Relationship Manager (contract)- Banking Salary: £Market Rate Role Duties: To work with Relationship Manager to prepare the application and renew of both FI clients’ limit and facilities for the HO and local credit committees approval; Help RMs to get initiate risk rating for new clients. For credit clients, work closely with RM to monitor lending and post loan end to end progress. Support ad hoc MI requests from Head Office. Support policy review and internal control assessment. Take meeting minutes for department meeting or when required. To provide management information on a regular and as-and-when needed basis; Responsibility for the day-to-day identification, ownership and management of conduct risk and controls through the continuing development and implementation of the Bank’s conduct risk framework processes. This includes the internal control processes designed to identify, assess and manage conduct risk, the execution of activities as intended and the identification, reporting and escalation/remediation of inadequate processes and control breaks. Role: Senior Credit Risk Manager- Banking Salary: Up to c£75,000 Role Duties: Collaborate with the Head of Credit Risk to develop and execute the credit risk management strategy in alignment with the organizational risk appetite. Provide oversight and challenge to first line of defence units in identifying, assessing, and managing credit risks per established policies. Monitor and evaluate the credit risk profile, including various portfolios such as risk assets, lending, and investments. Analyse credit risk metrics like expected credit losses, ECL stage distribution, and large exposures to identify trends and risks. Work with stakeholders to ensure consistent credit risk assessment practices and effective mitigation strategies. Develop and implement credit risk policies and procedures to enhance risk management and regulatory compliance. Contribute to the enhancement of credit risk models and methodologies for improved risk measurement and reporting. Present regular credit risk reports to senior management, risk committees, and regulatory bodies, highlighting key issues and recommendations.
