We are thrilled to have been a part of the Imperial Space Showcase, an event that truly captures the spirit of innovation and collaboration driving the new space age. The showcase brought together leading minds from across the space sector to discuss the incredible advancements and opportunities that space technology offers. From commercial satellite constellations to ground-breaking climate change monitoring projects, the event highlighted how space is becoming an integral part of our daily lives and a critical tool for addressing global challenges. As the year comes to a close, we're looking back on some of our highlights for 2024! We are tremendously proud of our what we have achieved this year, both as an organisation and as part of the space sector. All I want for Christmas is.. a RAFTI! Santa's helper (Calypso Kulasegram from our UK team) delivered a RAFTI, a ground coupling and a set of our fudicial docking markers to the Satellite Applications Catapult in time for Christmas. These Engineering Models will be installed in the Catapult ISAM Facility early next year to use in testing and development of UK satellite servicing missions. We’re expanding the Environmental and Space Living Lab (ESLL) with the launch of the second facility at Bicton College! This milestone builds on the launch of the first ESLL at Petroc last year, combining space data, cutting-edge technologies, and real-world research to address critical environmental challenges. Located at Bicton College, this new facility will drive place-based innovation, support businesses, and foster collaborative R&D for a more sustainable future.
