A memorable Shakespearean experience for our learners 🎭 This week, our English students from Central Saint Michael's Sixth Form had the incredible opportunity to attend a live performance of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night at The Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon. 🎭 The trip offered an enriching experience, allowing our students to engage with key themes like love, identity, and deception in a dynamic and immersive way. The unique production beautifully brought the play’s humour and complexity to life, deepening their understanding and appreciation of one of Shakespeare’s most iconic works. Thank you to the Royal Shakespeare Company for making this memorable experience possible! 👮♀️✨ Learning beyond the classroom! ✨👮♂️ Our ESOL 16-18 students recently had a fantastic day out at the West Midlands Police Museum. They explored the rich history of policing in the region, saw how the force has evolved over time, and got hands-on with police equipment like helmets and radios. They even learned how to take fingerprints correctly! 🖐️🔍 A highlight of the visit was hearing from PC Rani Gundhu, the longest-serving police officer in the West Midlands, who shared insights into British Values and the exciting range of career opportunities within the police force. This engaging trip not only broadened the students' understanding of law enforcement but also inspired them to think about future possibilities. Thank you to Maria Cori, Head of ESOL, for organising such a worthwhile trip.🚓✨ #ESOL #StudentExperience #BritishValues #WestMidlandsPolice #EducationBeyondClassrooms
