  • How attractive are you to potential clients? NOBODY WANTS THE THING YOU SELL!🤦🏼♂️ If you are just trying to sell the thing that you do, you’re going to constantly come up with #objections, and that’s if you get any opportunities at all! If you create a new solution to a problem your target clients face you can easily create a marketplace of one, and become insanely attractive!😍 In order to do this my favourite way is to live by this motto, ‘Give away the secrets, sell the implementation’ Many have fantastic solutions for their prospects that they struggle to sell. Guess what happens though if you give something incredibly useful away…?👀 Those consuming it want to know what else you can do for them! And here’s the kicker… The value your clients place on what you do is CUMULATIVE! 📈 So they will include the free stuff in with the value of the paid stuff you do for them, when they think of your value. So the paid stuff doesn’t actually have to be as good as the free stuff for them to feel working with you is immensely valuable! 🤯 The flip side is your prospects never understand anything about how valuable you could be to them, because you’re just trying to sell them your thing! 🗑️ Ever been in a supermarket and tried something you had no intention of buying because there was a ‘try before you buy’, and then gone back to buy?🙋🏼♂️ Let your prospects experience a small snapshot of what you can do for them, and they’ll naturally want more!   • The number 1️⃣ reason you have been earning the same amount for as long as you can remember… 👀 Somebody messaged us yesterday about a recent post claiming they were certain they were highly skilled in all of their core result areas, yet have been earning the same amount for 6 years! If this is the case you need to look at your situation in these terms; #SKILL vs #OPPORTUNITY (out of 10) If you are working in a sector that takes loads of technical work to win a client, but for little reward, you could easily be holding yourself back. Or you could be in customer service, but you are just earning a wage for reactive work, regardless of how proficient you are. If you have a Level 10 skillset, in a Level 1 or 2 opportunity, you are wasting your ability, AND your opportunity! On the flipside you could have a 2, 3, 4 level skillset, in a level 10 opportunity, and probably double your income without much work! ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE THE RIGHT #ATTITUDE .... Look at what you realistically could achieve in the area you work in, and think about what other opportunities are out there.   • How much did your TV cost? 📺 £300? £500? £1000+? I’m guessing you immediately think of the price in the catalogue, on the shelf, or on the receipt? That’s not what I mean... How much is it COSTING you? A recent study in The Times shows that adults in the UK watch an average of over 6 1/2 hours of TV and video, PER DAY!!! 🤯 That’s over 3 months per year watching TV! We constantly fall short of results we need, to have the life we claim we want to have, yet blame the lack of time!? It’s mental! You realise that individuals are rewarded for the hashtag#value they offer to the marketplace… There’s probably just 1 skill that could double your income, if only you put the time in to learn it! If you choose to watch the latest reality show (which are generally far from reality) instead, your TV is probably costing you tens of thousands of pounds!   • Does the thought of selling fill you with dread, or excitement? I hear pretty regularly that it’s clear I love what I do.❤️ Yesterday, after what many tell me they hate - being in a selling scenario, I received the feedback that the interaction was engaging, mesmerising and enthusiastic…. Want to know the secret? STOP SELLING!! Selling is very difficult if you try to sell. Selling becomes much more simple if you solely concentrate on delivering value! I don’t sell to anybody, but lots of people buy from me. If you aren’t passionate enough about what you do to receive this sort of feedback, maybe concentrate on the thing you are most passionate about, as that will enable you more and have a greater impact on the world.   • The simple 5 step process to easily generate more sales - following on from my earlier post… Step 1️⃣ List all of the problems your dream clients would love to solve. Alongside that list, write down the solution you have to each one of them. (Also include problems you can’t solve YET. The bigger the list, the better) Step 2️⃣ Choose the solution that would be the most appealing for your dream client to solve, or the one solution that solves multiple problems. Step 3️⃣ Build that solution into a compelling lead magnet. ‘What is a lead magnet’ Don’t worry, I got you… I’ll share more detail on this further down. Step 4️⃣ Engineer your sales process so that EVERY prospect consumes your lead magnet before you do anything else with them. (And I do mean EVERY prospect) Step 5️⃣ Build the lead magnet into each sales channel you want to use, and make sure you are capturing data of those that consume it. You could have built the most amazing product/solution in the world, but if nobody knows about it, you might as well not have bothered. Remember the more ideal prospects you engage with, the more business you will do! I would score more penalties than Ronaldo and Messi combined if they had 1 turn each, and I had 100! FURTHER EDUCATION What is a lead magnet…? 🧲 It’s a complete solution to a narrow problem, that once solved, identifies the need for your primary offering. Most of the business leaders I impact feel like it’s difficult to find leads, but don’t feel like they could work less and earn more if they built their value proposition. Only one of these is true…👀 In the example in my earlier post the 20 Free Leads offer solves the narrow problem that it’s difficult or expensive to generate leads, and it’s appealing enough that people want it. Once I’ve dismissed the false belief in a brief 15 minute call (the leads are in their inbox within 60 seconds), it identifies the next problem which is often that they don’t actually know how best to close those leads… They actually want to learn more about what I can do for them because I lead with VALUE, without even trying to sell anything. In the morning I’ll share an email I received today, following a meeting, to show how your prospects will feel about this process.   • How to win new clients without even trying… Last Thursday we took on a new client that we hadn’t targeted, suspected, prospected, been referred to etc. I was doing a demo of our powerful lead generation tool to a Manchester based business wanting Director level contacts in facilities management in Leeds. We generated them 20 free leads in around 5 seconds, with company details, social channels, phone numbers and emails.   • How many easy decisions end up having a profound impact on your life?🤔 If you think back to some of the things that have massively impacted your results, they often come when making what is a tough decision. The funny thing is when you look back you wonder why you didn’t take action sooner! This could be something in business when you knew you needed to sack your boss, break from a partnership, or help a member of your team to be successful elsewhere. 🍌 In your personal life I’m sure there will be an occasion where you, or somebody close to you, separated from a long term partner. ❤️🩹 With finances you may remember a moment when you knew you needed to invest a large amount of money that you probably didn’t have, to get you a better result. 😬 Breaking an old habit is always tough, but only by doing it can you progress!   • Have you ever heard of sunk-cost fallacy? It may help you if you didn’t know already… The Oxford Dictionary describes it as; 🗯️the phenomenon whereby a person is reluctant to abandon a strategy or course of action because they have invested heavily in it, even when it is clear that abandonment would be more beneficial. "the sunk-cost fallacy creeps into a lot of major financial decisions"🗯️ I had a call on Friday with a lovely guy around 12 months into his entrepreneurial journey. He is using a CRM that in his words ‘is pretty clunky, and difficult to use’. Furthermore he also has to use; 💰Calendar Software 💵 Sales Funnel Building Software 💶 Lead Generation Software 💷 Email Marketing Software 💲 Call Answering Software 💳 Payment Processing Software 🤖 Chatbot Software (All already integrated into Sales Union) All of these add extra costs onto his expenses every month because his system doesn’t work for him.   • So you’d like to eliminate price objections from your business?✅ Yesterday I shared how you can do this in product based businesses (link to post in the comments), but promised to share today how you can do this for a service based business! 💡 If you offer a service, one of the smartest things you can do is build in a guarantee into your offering, especially if nobody else is doing it! Just make sure that it’s unique! (By the way, that USP that you’ve been spouting to everyone is not unique if your competition says the same thing as you! 🗑️ we do what we say we’ll do… 🗑️ we’re always available… 🗑️ we’re reliable… 🗑️ we care… Etc, etc….. 🥱 These sorts of things just allow your prospects to see you as the same as all of those ‘competitors’ you’ve built a better solution than! ❌ Anyway, if you’re a service based business here’s an example you can use! ⬇️ #recruitment You find exceptional sales people that smash targets and reinvent what your clients think is achievable, and charge 25% (yes you can command 25%!!) If you offer to replace a candidate you place in the first 12 months free of charge (and nobody else is doing that), get some stats on your prospects retention. Let’s say their average sales person lasts 6 months, but your guarantee is 12 months. Their existing supplier has proven inferior staff will stay for 6 months, and charge 15% of a £30k basic (£4,500 - so £750 per month) BUT… You GUARANTEE a minimum of 12 months at 25% (£7,500 - so £625 per month MINIMUM) for a better solution! So for a superior solution you can offer a lower COST than an inferior solution! Does anybody on the planet want to pay a higher price for an inferior solution than they can pay for a superior solution? 🫣 ANSWER….   • As promised, another way to eliminate price objections in a service based business… ✅ Let’s look at the digital space - #webdesign or #webdevelopment Average sales people plan what to SAY, Exceptional sales people plan what to ASK! Where many unknowingly make business difficult is that they allow their prospects to believe they are the same as everyone else that does that they do. If a business contacts you asking for a website, it’s important to go deeper to understand why they think they need a website. (Nobody just needs a website!) You want to identify from asking the right questions what they want the website to do for them once it’s finished. Your competitors will mainly be offering a X-page website for a certain price. If you only talk to them in their terms about the result they are looking for, they can’t benchmark that against a price just for a website. 🍋 10-page website £2000 🎂 100 leads per month forever £2,500 Which of these is most appealing? They are there same thing, just framed in a different way. 🏅PRO TIP🏅 By the way, you can charge far more than £2,500 in this example as you would have found out what a lead is worth, in their world, and can price their desired result, accordingly! If they try to say they’ve found it cheaper elsewhere, you just ask what they’ve found… ‘Oh you’ve found a 10 page website for £2,000? You said you wanted 100 leads per month?’ ‘We do’ ‘Oh well 100 leads per month is £2,500. If you only want a website that’s £2,000, which would you like?
