We're so proud of our student Emelie, who attends our Sutherland House School and was chosen for work experience at the Theatre Royal in Nottingham. Emelie has a keen interest in costume design and fashion, so she joined their Wardrobe department and was involved in the redesign of one of Gok Wan's costumes. She even got to meet the man himself. Over two days, Emelie was given a behind-the-scenes look at theatre life and the hard work that goes on backstage to make the magic happen. Huge thanks to Theatre Royal & Royal Concert Hall Nottingham and all other organisations who come forward and offer work experience to our young people. It makes a life-shaping difference for students like Emelie.
