About us

The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) offers vocational training for actors, stage managers, designers, and technical stagecraft specialists. RADA was established in 1904 and has built an outstanding reputation as a world-renowned centre of excellence, offering the best possible facilities, exceptional teaching, and strong links with the industries that employ our graduates. Our student population is a diverse community, united by a shared passion for theatre-making. We pride ourself both on the professional standard of our student productions and on our track-record of their employment in theatre, film, and television. Student productions and technical exhibitions are open to the public, and we also translate our training expertise into business training working with individual clients and organisations of all sizes.
