A Successful Boiler Room Upgrade at Mackie Academy   On behalf of our client Aberdeenshire Council, Richard Irvin FM Limited Projects were delighted to upgrade three plant/boiler rooms at Mackie Academy with the latest high efficiency commercial appliances. This upgrade reduces energy consumption by 25% and eliminates the associated greenhouse gas emissions generated by the previous system.   Our team also took this opportunity to bring the gas carcasses, associated safety systems and flues up to current standards. EXCITING PROJECT COMPLETION ALERT! We’re thrilled to share the successful completion of our recent project at Strathburn Primary School - a comprehensive boiler refurbishment and replacement, coupled with the upgrade of ventilation control panels across multiple building areas. Here's a breakdown of what our project team accomplished: ✅ Removed existing boilers, flues, heating pumps, pressurisation unit, and expansion vessel. ✅ Made necessary alterations to the existing Satchwell control panel to accommodate a new Trend workstation. ✅ Installed new control wiring for boilers, pumps, and pressurisation unit. ✅ Integrated new software and graphics to enhance functionality. ✅ Updated ventilation control panels to improve efficiency. Our team meticulously handled alterations to existing Satchwell panels, ensuring seamless communication between the new Trend control panel and controllers, as well as existing panels.
