Earlier this week, our Change Consultants Jemma Mindham and yvonne ogden facilitated a dynamic workshop with the brilliant Adult Social Care team at Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council as part of our work to co-design their Technology Enabled Care (TEC) offer. The room was alive with energy and enthusiasm as the team shared innovative ideas and inspiring stories of how technology is already transforming lives. From enhancing independence to providing life-changing support, it’s incredible to see the potential of TEC to make a real difference. Collaboration like this is at the heart of what we do at Rethink Partners. We're proud to support forward-thinking councils like Solihull in developing care solutions that truly meet people’s needs. #TechnologyEnabledCare #Innovation #SocialCare #RethinkPartners #CoDesign #Transformation #Collaboration

About us
Rethink Partners is uniquely placed to connect people, services and tech for social good. We love solving challenging problems and work closely with our clients to understand their needs and discover where the big issues are. We work hard to unlock new value – and to explore, innovate and test ideas alongside our clients - to deliver impact where it really matters. Our first-hand experience in senior leadership roles in health and social care means we know how difficult it is to make changes to services, but we also know how great the rewards can be when we get it right. And we are committed to using digital technology as part of this work. Our passion is evident as we gather stories and capture first-hand insight into real-world scenarios that are not based on assumptions. We talk to people and patients, families and communities, clinicians and professionals as a core part of how we work. This helps us provide living solutions and to break new ground. We are then experts at service redesign - and we also pay attention and work with local leaders to create the right conditions for change to thrive and sustain. Most importantly, we will complete that final step so that our work has lasting impact. Since launch, our team has worked with local authorities, health organisations, tech start-ups and multi-national companies to define strategy, shape delivery and break boundaries. We would love you to get in touch to see what we can uncover. We've kicked off the WM5G Technology Enabled Care Proof of Concept in collaboration with Care City, 4OC and Alcove, initially partnering with City of Wolverhampton Council , Birmingham City Council , and Coventry City Council . This programme is set to drive culture change, conduct comprehensive impact assessments, and create strong business cases for each council. Once the initial phase is complete, we'll expand the reach of 5G-enabled care technologies across the West Midlands. This initiative is a critical step in transforming care services, demonstrating how cutting-edge technology can drive meaningful change in health and social care. #CareTech #5G #Innovation #SocialCare #DigitalTransformation #WestMidlands

Jemma and yvonne have been talking to Adult Social Care staff at Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council this week, as part of our work supporting them to understand their current use of technology and future opportunities. We've heard some great examples of people using technology that builds on people’s strengths, increases independence and enables carers to have some ‘me time’. We're really looking forward to the upcoming workshop sessions where we will be co-designing an approach which will galvanise this energy and good practice to increase the potential impact of technology in the future.

Loving the collaboration with social workers in London Borough of Newham as we co-design the council’s future care tech operating model. Together, we're shaping key features like desired outcomes for residents, technology options, the customer journey, and the overall TEC vision, ensuring the future service delivers better results for both residents and staff. Lots of other activities taking place to co-produce and validate the work as we progress – to ensure that the future service delivers exceptional results for both residents and staff. #CareTech #StrengthsBased #Innovation #SocialCare #DigitalTransformation #Newham

We’re excited to share that 31 Nobi Smart Lamps Smart Lights have been installed at Eastcotts and a LD Shared Lives facility in Suffolk County Council as part of its ATEC programme. These lights enhance safety by detecting falls and alerting carers in real-time. At Rethink Partners, we believe that digital care tech is about finding the best solutions for people. We take pride in advising organisations on the most suitable tech for people’s unique needs. Our team spends a lot of time engaging with care tech providers to understand their solutions, ensuring we can advise on the most suitable for the scenario and setting. #CareTech #Innovation #HealthCare #SocialCare #SmartHome #DigitalTransformation
