This is a remote based role but candidates will need to be within commuting distance of London, for events, team meetings when required. It would suit someone who is looking to work 4-5 days per week (hours can be flexible). Must have a great attention to detail and understand their way around a mortgage application and ensuring that consumer duty is being adhered to. Some great advice from one of the team - Graham Turner. Job searching is tough and at times demoralising. Recently, we have noticed a surge in job applications, from a statistics point of view this sounds great as a Recruitment Agency, however it is not. Job boards have tried to simplify the job application process, making it quick and easy for candidates to apply for positions. This sounds great but it is not. Last weekend we received over 400 applications for advertised positions, 99% did not meet the experience needed for the roles they were applying for. Clicking the “quick apply” button without even reading the job description is not the way a candidate should be controlling their job search. This approach is likely to make you feel deflated and despondent that you have made X applications without any success. My advice is to take back control of your search, take time to read adverts and make sure you apply for positions relevant to your skillset and experience. This is far more likely to result in more positive engagement with recruiters (or employers if applying directly) but most importantly, not leave you feeling downbeat and rejected. #jobsearching #takecontrol #financialservicesrecruitment #recruitertips
