It is this blend that continues to add strength and value to our core business of designing and manufacturing high-quality pressure regulators. Our product range is manufactured predominantly in 316 Stainless Steel, covers up to 1,380 bar (20,000 psi) and caters for port sizes from 1/8” to 4”. Pressure Tech regulators are used worldwide with 70% being exported for use on critical high-pressure control systems such as wellhead control panels, gas analyser systems, hyperbaric diving systems and the latest hydrogen fuel cell technology. We supply to an ever-increasing customer base ranging from family businesses like our own to blue chip multinationals, meaning we offer a personal touch combined with the capacity to fulfil larger projects. In addition to our standard products, we take great pride in being able to design bespoke solutions to fulfil customer requirements. This in-house design flexibility is one of the many reasons why existing customers come back to us time and again, and why new customers approach Pressure Tech when an off-the-shelf product just won’t suffice. Now in our 20th year of operation we look forward to continuing to enhance our reputation as a leading player within the Oil and Gas sector, and to developing our growing presence within the exciting Hydrogen Fuel Cell market.

A Sample System refers to the equipment and infrastructure used to collect, transport, condition, and analyze samples from a process stream in various industries, such as chemical manufacturing, oil and gas. These systems are crucial for monitoring the quality and performance of industrial processes, ensuring product consistency, and maintaining safety and regulatory compliance. Key Components of a Sample System: 1. Sampling Probes: • These are devices inserted into the process stream to extract a representative sample. They are designed to handle specific process conditions like temperature, pressure, and chemical composition, ensuring that the sample accurately reflects the system. 2. Sample Lines/Transport Tubing: • Once a sample is taken, it is transported through a sample line (tubing) to a collection point or analyzer. These lines must be carefully selected to avoid contamination and preserve the integrity of the sample. 3. Sample Coolers/Heaters: • To ensure that the sample maintains the correct temperature (to prevent chemical reactions or changes in physical properties), sample coolers or heaters may be included in the system. 4. Sample Conditioners: • In some systems, the sample may need to be conditioned before analysis. This could involve filtration, pressure regulation, or the removal of particulates or gases. 5. Sample Collection Containers: • Samples are typically collected in containers or chambers that allow for safe and accurate storage. These containers must be properly sealed to avoid contamination and must be compatible with the substance being sampled. 6. Flow Control and Valves: • To regulate the amount of sample being extracted and ensure consistency, sample systems include valves, regulators, and other flow control devices. 7.Analyzer : • In many sample systems, an integrated analyzer may be part of the setup, enabling real-time analysis of the sample directly in the system. Alternatively, the sample may be sent to an external analyzer or laboratory. 8. Data Transmission and Monitoring: • Many sample systems include monitoring and data transmission tools to send sample results or alerts to operators or control systems. This feature is especially important in automated and remote monitoring environments. Types of Sample Systems: 1. Grab Sample Systems. 2. Continuous Sampling Systems. 3. Automatic Sample Systems. 4. Representative Sampling Systems. Benefits of Sample Systems: 1. Process Monitoring. 2. Quality Assurance. 3. Regulatory Compliance. 4. Reduced Downtime. 5. Operational Efficiency. 6. Cost Savings.

  • The photo below captures an order of LF690s being packed for despatch this morning at Pressure Tech Ltd. Our LF690 is a piston-sensed low-flow reducing regulator with ceramic seating to provide the ultimate protection against the harsh service encountered on hydraulic applications such as water glycol. Its unique seating cartridge ensures the main valve is fully supported during operation to prevent ‘chattering’. The LF690 is supplied with a segregated captured vent to prevent deterioration to the loading mechanism making the regulator easier to service. If you’d like any more information on the LF690 or need a question answering regarding our hydraulic pressure regulators, please contact us at www.pressure-tech.com or drop a comment below! #PressureTech #PressureRegulators #HydraulicPressureRegulators #LF690 #Quality

  • Did you know that Pressure Tech Ltd's hydrogen mobility regulators in our 875 range and the AUTO438 models are designed with an easy-to-access servicing cartridge? This innovative feature allows the regulator to be serviced without needing to be removed from the vehicles' system. The service cartridge is securely fixed to the bottom of the regulator, and once removed, it provides quick access to the internal components, such as the O-rings, seat, main valve, and filter, for inspection or replacement as needed. This in-situ servicing capability eliminates the need to disconnect the vehicle's pipework and fittings, saving time and effort. After servicing, there’s no need to refit all the pipes or re-check for leaks as the regulator was never removed, making maintenance simpler, safer, and more efficient. #PressureTech #PressureRegulators #Innovation #HydrogenEconomy #Mobility

  • All of our regulators at Pressure Tech Ltd are designed with the option for additional inlet and outlet ports, allowing for the integration of ancillary equipment. This feature is especially advantageous in our mobility range of regulators, such as the H875, by reducing potential system leak paths. The H875 model supports up to two additional inlet ports and two additional outlet ports, enabling the direct attachment of components like purge valves, pressure relief valves and pressure sensors to the regulator body. By installing these components directly onto the regulator, the system's overall number of potential leak paths is minimised as opposed to requiring in-line installation with a tee-piece fitting. #PressureTech #PressureRegulators #InletPorts #OutletPorts #H875
