As part of our commitment to understanding the rapidly developing security landscape, we are pleased to release a new report, ‘The Current State of Extreme Right-Wing Terrorism’.   The report highlights an important shift: that far-right terrorism has evolved away from structured groups to a more disparate, dispersed, online threat, and as a result is likely to remain a significant threat in the long term. The report also warns of the risk of radicalisation to individuals under the age of 18, perpetuated by the ease of internet access and the increasing amount of time spent online by children and young adults in the UK. On 14th October, the government commended the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Bill, known as #MartynsLaw to the House of Commons – a significant step towards strengthening the UK's preparedness against terrorism.
