    💫 In the spirit of Christmas, I wanted to shine a light on an incredible charity called the Loose Ends Project. 🪡 Before my mum passed away in 2020, she had started knitting a blanket for me but, sadly, she never got the chance to finish it. After four years of the blanket sitting unfinished, I reached out to the Loose Ends Project—a movement that eases grief, builds community, and inspires generosity by matching volunteer finishers with incomplete textile projects left behind due to death or disability. 🧵 Less than a week after contacting them, I was connected with a local volunteer named Kathryn, who very kindly took the time to finish the blanket for me. 📙Last month, Finnish lifestyle magazine Laine Publishing published an article about Kathryn’s and my story, highlighting the incredible work Loose Ends is doing around the world. 📣piqniq are excited to support the Loose Ends Project next year as they continue connecting volunteer finishers with meaningful projects. It is truly time to accelerate real-world applications of AI, create more efficiency for brands and redefine industry standards. 📣 Stand out solutions from the event included: ✅ Regulations in advertising can be a minefield, with millions of ads taken down each year due to compliance issues. A simplified process can now be offered, with instant compliance reviews and actionable feedback. Thought-provoking insights, brilliant speakers, and some truly eye-opening discussions on how psychology shapes marketing. Key takeaways? Behavioural science is a game-changer. It’s not just about getting your ad in front of the right person at the right time but about understanding where and how it lands: 💡 Context impacts everything: Attention, social signals, trust, effectiveness—where your ad shows up shapes how people perceive and respond to it. Quality does rub off! 📺 Position matters: Ads placed near high-quality content or alongside premium brands see a 27% lift in perceived value. Proximity and alignment with the right environment will amplify your message - the "ZARA effect". 😊 Mood boosts memory: A positive frame of mind increases ad recall and trust by up to 62%. Stress, on the other hand, reduces attention to details. Pair your ads with upbeat content for max effectiveness. 🤝 Shared experiences stick: Watching with others amplifies recall by a whopping 23%.     🙏 A big thank you to the IPA (Institute of Practitioners in Advertising) and Simon Dodd (FIPA) for the brilliant accelerator session. ✨ Simon’s session, ‘Why the world needs agency start-ups’, reminded us not to get lost in the small, functional moments and highlighted why clients love accelerator agencies. Here are a few takeaways that resonate with our piqniq way: 🪫 A bucket load of energy: We’re here to turbocharge clients’ bravery and attitude, while offering a refreshingly intelligent approach to all things media. 💻 Proactivity and innovation: We’ve had the advantage of onboarding a host of contemporary tech, allowing us to stay ahead of the industry.
