It was great to be in Galway last week helping to “demystify private equity” and meeting some brilliant Irish entrepreneurs. Thank you so much for hosting us BDO and Platform94!   There were two great discussion panels, which answered some interesting questions:   🤝 Does having a PE partner, make life as a CEO/Founder less lonely? Absolutely, there is always someone at the end of the phone. And Kevin O'Loughlin shared that he sleeps well at night as a result.   🤔 How do you know if a private equity partner is right for you? Whilst they do their due diligence on you, do the same to them – take references and meet the broader team   📈 What is the reality of “board reporting” when you have a PE partner?
