Yesterday marked the final seminar of our autumn season, held at the stunning Italian Villa at Compton Acres. We were thrilled to welcome a fantastic turnout of clients who joined us for another insightful talk led by our esteemed guest speaker, Neil Fisher, Senior Investment Consultant at St. James's Place. Neil’s expertise shone through as he shared his take on some of today’s most pressing topics: the recent U.S. election and what it could mean for markets, navigating investments in challenging times, and valuable strategies to help reduce financial stress. After the talk, clients and advisors had the chance to connect and discuss the day's topics over a delicious buffet. A big thank you to everyone who attended and to The Italian Villa for being such a wonderful host once again.

A rainy-day fund is a readily available pot of cash that can be used for emergencies. Before you start investing, you should always make sure you’ve saved up your rainy-day fund. We’d recommend you have enough to cover three to six months of outgoings – food and utility bills, Council Tax, mortgage payments and so on. You need to be able to get hold of it at short notice, so it should be in an instant-access savings account, rather than invested in stocks and shares. #TalkMoneyWeek #DoOneThing

A well-deserved appreciation for our Mortgage Adviser, Kerrie Scammell CeMAP, from the clients she helped secure their first home. 🏠 "Thank you so much for all your help and answering all our annoying questions! You have been the best - so grateful!" Well done Kerrie 👏
Feeling incredibly grateful for the thoughtful gifts my wonderful clients brought me yesterday afternoon! 🕯️ I'm pleased to have submitted these first-time buyers their mortgage, along with life insurance and income protection. As someone who loves candles, I really appreciate the kind gesture. Thank you so much! Looking forward to celebrating their home completion in just two weeks! 😊🏡

It can be emotional and difficult to think about what should happen to your assets after you die. As well as considering what to leave whom, you also need to navigate the different options and tax rules. So, it’s a good idea to include loved ones in conversations about your legacy. #TalkMoneyWeek #DoOneThing

US election: What does Trump's victory mean for markets? At a glance: 👉 Donald Trump’s policy promises such as increased tariffs could cause inflation to rise. 👉 We expect to see short-term market volatility, but do not act on speculation. We remain anchored to our long-term investment views. 👉 It is important to avoid a knee jerk or emotional response after such a divisive election. https://lnkd.in/dBkU6ahK #USElection
