It really is time to address the questions What the #mpf is marketing anyway? Performance For Sales is leading the discussion and asking us to take a step back and think again about this process and its role in business. Time to clarify what it is, what the expectations are around it, how people can get involved and how it aligns with other vital business processes. If you ask the question what answers do you get? Someone once said to me it was about having a website. Is a banana a banoffee pie? Just asking! Marketing never stops - people often say its the first thing to go when times are tough and costs need to be cut. What a load of XXXX$£"! Marketing is a process - its not a cost - its the support structure holding so much together - its a performance space. It is all about thinking. So many incredible businesses are there to be involved and deliver solutions as part of that process.
