  • Thank you to everyone who braved the wet and wild winds last weekend as we opened the Penny Brohn UK Centre doors to people from far and wide for our 2nd ever Festive Market! Over 40 stallholders filled the corridors and rooms of the Centre with their Christmas crafts, seasonal stocking fillers and unique gifts for people to peruse and purchase. We were also joined by Pill Community Choir and New Yorchestra who entertained us through the day, as visitors picked up some warming food and drink in the restaurant. The perfect ending to our festive calendar, the day helped to raise £2,800 🧡 We can't wait to do it all again next year!

  • Friday 6th December saw us all once again join together at Clifton College Chapel for our 9th annual Christmas Concert. In what was a magical evening of music and merriment, 300 of you joined us on the evening to hear the likes of Bristol Male Voice Choir, Redmaids Community Choir and Riff Raff Choir sing some absolute festive classics. We were joyously led on the night by Ali Vowles and Laura Rawlings, the latter of who shared her story following her support Penny Brohn UK with the congregation. Attendees were treated to some delicious hot sausage or mushroom rolls, a glass of mulled wine and also had the ability to win one of two incredible hampers with our on the night raffle. Thank you so much to everyone who attended on the night. Thanks to your generosity you helped to raise an incredible £7,800! 🧡 Thank you also to BDO for sponsoring this event and making it possible!

  • On Sunday 1st December, over 100 children and their families joined us in the Penny Brohn UK gardens for our first-ever Reindeer Trail 🦌 The sun shone brightly for us all as the children scoured the bushes, buildings and woodlands for all 9 of Santa’s pesky reindeer that were hiding – with those all important riddle clues! The children received a chocolate santa as their prize for solving the riddle, and then had a chance to meet the main man himself 🎅 in our Santa’s Grotto. The day was a huge success; through ticket sales, refreshments and a raffle you helped to raise over £1,000 for those living with cancer. Thank you for joining us! 🧡
