Who knew a global team could have so much festive fun? 🎄🎉 Our virtual Christmas Bingo was a huge hit! Twenty of us donned our best Christmas jumpers and accessories and loved the Christmas Bingo provided by The Big Smoke Events Company! Our hosts, Adrian, Holly, and Francesca, were brilliant in explaining the Bingo Rules and getting it all set up. We had a blast matching words to festive video clips, listening to Christmas songs, and even drawing the scariest snowman in 60 seconds! ⛄️❄️ A special shoutout to Shirmae who won the first bingo line. Well done! The second round had us listen for and mark off popular Christmas song lyrics. Lorie won the second bingo line. Pets and Ironing boards won the next few rounds with Shawn, Caitlin and Ed using their furry friends (cheating, maybe?) Sarah and Zoe were hilarious and took another win by surfing on ironing boards! Lizi's creepy snowman design was awarded the winner too - and she tells us it was the first time in her life that she won anything in art! Huge congrats to Lorie though, she was our unstoppable bingo champ with 4 lines! BINGO🏆 Thanks to everyone for joining in the festive fun. Each year, December 10 marks the celebration of the esteemed Nobel Prize, established by the renowned Swedish chemist, engineer, and inventor Alfred Nobel. Nobel believed people could improve society through science, knowledge, and humanism. In his final will, 1895, Nobel indicated that 94 per cent of his fortune should be used to create prizes for ‘those who, during the preceding year, shall have conferred the greatest benefit to humankind’. For several reasons, his decisions and the posthumous reading of his final will triggered a significant controversy in Sweden and internationally.
