Last week our Community Engagement Manager Charlie Charlton hosted the Inspiring Females Awards 2024 at the Newcastle Civic Centre. The North East Chamber of Commerce event celebrated the wonderful achievements of women in business across the region. It was brilliant to see so many Helix partners and occupiers on the night, including SPARK EPOS with their innovative robot whizzing around the drinks reception! Congratulations to Jenny Malone Elgie from Womble Bond Dickinson (UK) LLP who was highly commended in the ‘Inspiring Female - Larger Business’ category. The judges praised Jenny’s inspirational leadership of Thrive, Womble Bond Dickinson’s national women’s network, and her role as Head of Business Planning. Well done to all of the nominees and winners, it was fantastic to hear all of the incredible business stories from across the North East!
