This initiative helped the team analyze waste composition and led to the creation of a prototype for sustainable flooring and decking materials, which they are now officially selling through a collaboration with a partner in Innovation Centre Denmark, Shanghai. Elbow Engineers’ commitment to sustainability has been recognized with prestigious awards, including the The Economic Times Social Impact Award and the Indian Icon Award. They also formed a partnership with Tamil Nadu’s TANSAM Center of Excellence initiative, involving Siemens India and Anna University, to audit their technology in new applications. Reflecting on their experience, Elbow Engineers credits the Tata Varsity Pitch competition and NACUE’s workshops, mentoring, and guidance for supporting their growth. The highlight was presenting at the Wired Impact Event in London, a unique opportunity to connect with key stakeholders and take their innovation further. For future Tata Group Varsity Pitch finalists, Elbow Engineers pvt ltd recommends leveraging NACUE's resources and guidance fully, viewing the competition as a continuous journey of growth and refinement, and embracing each learning opportunity to strengthen their venture.
