Be the difference! December marks our 1st B Corp birthday and with that, we held a Be The Difference awards. After some amazing nominations and careful consideration by our B Corp steering group, the first winner of the annual award is... Ryan Douglas! The charities team worked with Connected Voice during small charities week to offer free legal advice clinics to small charities in the region. Ryan helped with organising the clinics and pairing the charities to the right team in the firm. He also helped advise some of those that needed support from the charities team. Well done and thank you for your hard work!🏆 To read more about our B Corp Certification, click here: https://ow.ly/8vYn50UsnVo

Christmas Jumper Day🎅🎄 Last Thursday, we took part in Save the Children's Christmas Jumper Day, where our people pulled on their Christmassy knits and raised £260! It was wonderful to see everyone in their festive outfits. Our Being Engaged At Muckle (BEAM) team had the hard decision of choosing their favourite jumpers, so a special well done to Gail Bennett, Georgia Barber, Thomas Hunnam, Richard Nixon, and Martha Harrison (née Averley)!🌟

We've surpassed £700,000 in grants to support local charities!🌟 The Muckle Fund, run in association with the Community Foundation, was set up in 2002 as a way for us to give back to people, communities and good causes across the North of England. Since then, we've awarded 737 grants totalling £713,679 to charities, community groups, and not-for-profit organisations across the North East and Cumbria. We give 1% of our annual profits to the fund and this year we've helped over 30 charities, to read about how we've helped four of these with larger grants, click here👉 https://ow.ly/sbx650UqsLM
