On the back of a new broadcast deal with Sky Sports and the BBC, England Netball is about to embrace its first ever professional season. With over 3m people playing every year, viewing figures are up by 53% since last season and attendances up by 11%. The headlines highlighted below illustrate the strong position of Netball and a growth trajectory that suggests now really is the time to invest in the Netball Super League. 📈 Women's sport is growing with Deloitte predicting that women's sport will become a £1bn industry in 2024. 📺 72% of the NSL's viewing audience on Sky Sports is female, providing the opportunity for partners to create meaningful connections with female fans who are younger and more digitally engaged. 📣 Netball is a sport on the rise and this is our moment! Planned to perfection! Yesterday was our Mongoose Group (Mongoose Sports & Entertainment, Populate Social, Influence Sports & Media) summer party and it turns out, watching England score an equaliser in the 90th minute of a semi-final does a good job of helping the team bond. Bleary eyes, heavy heads, beer stained shirts and speaking for myself some sore muscles after playing a little too much padel. Thanks to Padel Social Club for hosting us.
