This week we welcomed Warren 'Woz' Blyth full-time into our growing Business Development and Defence Training team, in the role of Senior Military Advisor. With a distinguished 30-year career in the British Army, he brings a wealth of experience in leadership, strategic thinking, and operational execution. His successful transition to the Defence Industry this year has seen him applying this experience to innovative projects in AI and analytics, where his insights enhance data-driven decision-making, organisational resilience, and efficiency. Woz at a glance: ✅ Highly experienced in delivering complex collective training scenarios within synthetic and live environments, specialising in Land and Air domains, and leveraging data-driven insights. ✅ Expertise in managing complex, high-stakes collective training, offering a strategic, real-world approach to developing robust solutions. ✅ Energetic coordinator with a proven track record of driving change in challenging operational and training roles across the Armed Forces. ✅ Skilled in facilitating successful project delivery in demanding conditions. ✅ Forward-thinking, with a talent for analysing complex problems and implementing effective solutions. ✅ Imaginative and articulate, with excellent interpersonal skills. In his spare time, Woz enjoys staying active through sports like Golf and Golf! Playing Poker and travel! Oh, also keeping Tim Colebrooke on his toes socially! We’re really excited to welcome Woz into Mission Decisions at such an important time for the company, as we start to ramp up operations in support of our growing customer base. A week in the life of the team at Mission Decisions who attended the Halldale Group Asia Pacific Airline Training Symposium (APATS) in Singapore last week. Thanks to Andy Smith and Jeremy H. for an excellent event. It was great to connect with a wide swathe of aviation training experts and companies, to understand how our technology can support airline training. Our ATPL Intelligent coach application received a lot of interest. At these events we have an ongoing tradition for CO’s phys. So Tim Colebrooke was made to get up a zero-dark-thirty to pace it out around the Marina Bay gardens. 27 degrees, 86% humidity and you need to watch out for the wildlife! It wasn’t all hard work of course. But great to connect with some old colleagues at Peak Pacific Group, Air7Asia and of course Cap Vista Pte Ltd and the Federal Aviation Administration. We are looking forward to some exciting collaborations in the future.
