They later switched to 可口可乐 (Kěkǒukělè), which means "tasty and happy." Pepsi: In a similar circumstance, Pepsi’s slogan “Come Alive with Pepsi” took an unexpected turn and was translated to “Pepsi Brings Your Ancestors Back from the Grave” in China. Talk about a drink that lifts your spirits! Schweppes: Last but not least, Schweppes fell flat when their tonic water was humorously translated to “Schweppes' toilet water” in China.
