Midas were delighted to be a promotional partner for this year's FinTech North's Manchester conference. Our fintech community is vital to the continued digitisation and disruption of our Financial Services community. The organisations both challenge and help our incumbent FS community to continue to meet business and customer expectations but also to bring UK fintech to global markets. Fintech North Chair Chris Sier, Innovate Finance Peter Cunnane and CEO of CFIT Ezechi Britton MBE really set the scene for UK policy and the new Government priorities. Our own, AccessPay founder Anish Kapoor, gave a resounding thumbs up for our collaborative ecosystem and our diverse talent pool and shared his growth journey. Then our most recent investment project Kevin Redfern from Tripppl gave us an early insight into their transformative stock exchange project that will revolutionise access to finance for tech and ESG founders and provide democratised and localised investment options for local communities. Our recent investor, GFT Technologies took us through the history of Manchester and the (F)industrial Revolution - their FS transformation work and their collaboration with another recent Manchester investor Starling Bank, who were represented by Chloe Williams and Sam Clarke as they gave a deep dive on the engineering future of finance. An insightful session on Manchester’s Fintech scene rounded off our day at the conference, with Leon Wilson (Founder & CEO) at PollenPay. If you are looking to join our Fintech community please get in touch with one of our colleagues below 👇 [email protected] - Deborah Walker [email protected] - Isabelle Southeran [email protected] - Edoardo Barbi
