📦 Melody Maison's warehouse conundrum 📦 We need some ideas! As we have grown so fast over the past few years our warehouses have had to expand rapidly to accommodate our product volumes, changes in sizes and shapes of the items we are now stocking. Due to this we are all agreeing that our 3 current warehouses are NOT at all being used to their full capability, meaning we are at full capacity and fit to burst. We have a 4th warehouse ready to go up but due to the timeframe on steels, we cant build this fast enough and therefore are going to be renting emergency storage space. Are there any Warehouse genius out there who specialise in warehouse optimisation who could come and give us some pointers to make the most of our space / racking etc ?

Wholesome Birthday Gift From Grandma! Grandma Aud has been quite present on my LinkedIn over the last couple of months, and that’s because she’s always present at Melody Maison! Always brings in cakes for the team or up to antics being her usual self. Some time ago, I made the classic present error, I told her I ‘liked’ something. This something was Picallili, never showed a clear passion for it, just I liked it. So, as any normal grandma would do, she’s proceeded to spend the next several years buying me Picallili for every Christmas, birthday, or just any occasion possible🤣 Next time I’m going to start telling her I like large plasma screen TVs and see what happens (Peter Kay reference). 🧄🥖 After a gloomy English April, she’s treated us all to some Cake, Wotsits, TimeOut bars, and two Beef and Piccalilli sandwiches - this woman truly is a different breed! WHOLESOME CONTENT ALERT! ⏰ Some of you may know my Grandma contributes to Melody Maison's morale better than any of us who actually work here through her amazing baking! 🍰 Recently there has been a dispute over the distribution of said cakes throughout Melody, and following a very cold and busy period down in the Warehouse, she has yet again outdone herself by bringing them all some gorgeous buns to keep them powering on! But she's outdone herself this time, by writing a small poem about our fantastic team, letting them know they are the backbone of what we do! A team effort to get through the crazy Winter we've just had, involves input from every department here - thank you to the team (And Grandma Audrey of course!!)
