I had the chance to attend FutureWeek AI in Media & Marketing, fantastically hosted by Vincent Flood of VideoWeek, where industry-leading experts from across media and advertising shared their vision for AI’s transformative role in our industry. At Medialab Group, as a data driven agency, we are leveraging AI in our journey and many elements and learnings from the day resonated. Throughout the conference, speakers highlighted that AI not only enables smarter, data-driven decisions but also frees teams to focus on high-value creative work. However, success hinges on thoughtful frameworks, transparency, and maintaining a strong human touch, especially in creative processes where authenticity drives trust. Sessions like 'The Advertiser AI Journey', with Sameer Amin, and 'AI in Ad Tech' with Adam Ray reinforced that while efficiency is essential, we must ensure quality and creativity are not overshadowed. Platforms such as 'Share of Model' (presented by Jack Smyth) reveal exciting opportunities to understand how AI perceives brands—an area that will shape consumer influence moving forward.
