It's been another busy month of fundraising! Let's take a look at what our community of supporters have been up to 👇
1️⃣ We had the pleasure of being invited to the Harrogate Mumbler Awards, where we were their chosen charity to receive funds raised from the raffle. The venue, The Crown Hotel, also kindly donated some of their bar takings from the night, so the total raised was an amazing £3155.
2️⃣ The Pudsey branch of Jewson's closed its doors at the end of November, and after supporting Martin House for the past year, they wanted to give us a final donation from the branch. Thank you for raising £1201.17.
3️⃣ Fiona Brown has been fundraising in memory of her son Liam. Fiona swam 400 lengths in a month, with the target of raising £500. She smashed this by raising an incredible £2580!
4️⃣ Siblings Johnny and Molly have been busy fundraising this year including baking and selling cakes, homemade perfume and running a toy stall for their neighbours. Altogether, they have raised £166.52.
5️⃣ Skipton Choir held a concert in support of THE BUILD with special guests joining them, The Tenmours. The concert was held at Skipton Town Hall and raised £2,000.
6️⃣ Phoebe and her Grandma, Alice, have raised £300 with a stall selling items such as jams and pickles made by Alice. Phoebe is a keen fundraiser for Martin House and this is the third time she has done this, bringing her total raised this year to £770!
7️⃣ Voices of Rock Choir held a concert at the Albion Pub in Clifford. They raised an amazing £605.95.
