🙌 2024 HIGHLIGHTS: WORKING FOR THE U.S. AIR FORCE 📅 In May we announced a contract to design, build and demonstrate a containerised system simplifying logistics and accelerating aircraft/personnel deployment for the United States Air Force (USAF). ⚡ In line with the USAF’s Agile Combat Employment doctrine, our mission modules can be airlifted to non-permanent “contingency locations” where they can be rapidly unloaded, moved and deployed. ✅ The system is designed for compatibility with the Lockheed Martin C-130 - a requirement we are amply qualified to meet, given our MRO and engineering expertise on the platform since 1966! ⛷️ Our final customer spotlight of 2024 is the Royal Norwegian Air Force—a customer we've supported since 1977. ❄️ RNoAF has a fleet of four extended C-130J-30 aircraft, all operated by 335 squadron based just outside Oslo. 🐺 All four aircraft are named after Norse goddesses: Frigg, Frøya, Idunn and Nanna. (Nanna, pictured, made an appearance in the RIAT aircraft display line this year.) 🚨 The fleet supports a range of tactical missions including personnel and equipment transport, humanitarian operations, medical airlift, cold weather operations and natural disaster relief. #ProblemSolvers #C130Since1966 #HercWork

💡 Aero engineering is all about keeping aircraft serviceable, airworthy and fit for purpose. ♾️ As Head of Service Development John Davis FRAeS, MSFTE explains, Marshall sees engineering as a constant cycle of improvement based on ever-evolving needs, rather than a linear path from start to finish. 🔁 John walks us through the cycle—starting with requirements capture and moving through design, test and evaluation to in-service support and beyond. ⭐ Last week we were delighted to host a visit from our USAF 352nd Special Operations Wing colleagues and neighbours based at RAF Mildenhall. 🤝 In addition to a tour of our C-130 MRO operations, the visit was a great opportunity to build our relationship, share perspectives and strengthen our sense of community. 👏 We are proud of our enduring legacy of support for the USAF in the UK. #MakingADifference #MarshallCommunities
