  • 🌟 Big News! Making Impact Matter is excited to announce our new role as evaluators for the London's Violence Reduction Unit Social Switch programme! 🌟 Delivered by Catch22 and Redthread, the Social Switch programme is transforming futures by equipping young people with digital skills and career opportunities while helping them stay safe online. As part of our evaluation, we’ll be working directly with young people to co-produce videos that capture their journeys, their experiences, and the real impact of the programme on their lives. Partnering with the talented team at Fully Focused Productions | Million Youth Media (MYM YouTube), we’re amplifying these stories through film, with young people as the true narrators of their experiences. “Social Switch is an inspiring programme, and we’re thrilled to work with young people to document their stories authentically. Our goal is to amplify voices and celebrate the resilience and creativity they bring.” – Rachael Murray Higgins, Director, MiM “Evaluation is strengthened if young people lead on their own stories; our role is to provide relatable facilitators, the tools and support to share authentically.” – Rosa Powloski, Fully Focused | Founders of Million Youth Media “At The Social Switch project we delighted to welcome MiM and Fully Focus to co-ordinate an evaluation of or work, lead by young people. This innovative approach will ensure young peoples voices are at the forefront of what’s working for young people in London” – Richard Smith, Operations Manager, The Social Switch Project, Catch22 📣 Interested in meaningful, impact-focused evaluation? • Making Impact Matter appointed to deliver Social Value Impact Assessment for Bradford 2025: Bradford is next year’s UK City of Culture, and we are excited to announce that Making Impact Matter (MiM) has been appointed to lead a Social Value Impact Assessment (SVIA). Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture runs from January 2025 to December 2025 and is a celebration of Bradford city and district, taking place across its city, towns, villages and greenspaces.  It is set to have a lifelong impact, through its reshaping of the local curriculum, skills and training programmes, investment in existing and new creative spaces, and opening up opportunities for cultural participation. It is helping to make Bradford one of the most welcoming places in the UK for artists, producers and creative entrepreneurs to flourish, through international exchanges, development programmes and investment in new cultural hubs. In partnership with AMION Consulting, MiM will focus on capturing the social impact of this transformative cultural event. MiM’s focus will be on ensuring that the voices and experiences of the community are central to our evaluation. At MiM, we specialise in evaluating the social, economic, and environmental value of cultural and community-led initiatives. With over 15 years of experience, we are dedicated to providing insightful evaluations that empower organisations to measure and enhance their impact. This appointment reflects our commitment to helping Bradford 2025 demonstrate the tangible benefits of its cultural investments. Over the next year, we will work closely with Bradford 2025 to design a Social Value Framework (SVF). This comprehensive framework will use methodologies such as Social Return on Investment (SROI) to quantify the value of Bradford’s cultural initiatives, ensuring that the benefits are fully understood and maximised for the local community. Our appointment is part of a broader collaboration, with AMION Consulting, together with Simetrica-Jacobs, spirul leading the Economic Impact and Value for Money Assessment. Together, our goal is to provide Bradford 2025 with a comprehensive Economic and Social Value Impact Assessment (ESVIA), covering both the economic benefits and the wider social impact of the programme. Through this collaborative effort, Making Impact Matter and its partners are committed to supporting Bradford 2025 in attracting millions of visitors, creating jobs, and stimulating cultural and creative industries in the city. MiM’s contribution will focus on engaging communities and stakeholders to understand the full social impact, ensuring that their experiences and voices are at the heart of the evaluation.
