One of the most satisfying things we do, is to work with companies and individuals to help their dreams of helping the planet come true.
We were delighted to work closely with We Seal, to support them in several ways:
💚 Christopher Neave helped them to calculate their carbon footprint.
💚 Helen Neave and Chris hosted their conservation day, placing mulch mats for some young trees, with younger family members joining in.
💚And finally we have helped them plant a woodland!
Thank you to Richard Hobson, Sue Hobson and all the team for being great to work with ... and for your lovely words below.
"At We Seal, we are fiercely committed to sustainability, passionate about minimising our environmental impact and ultimately working towards becoming carbon neutral. Based in Yorkshire, we wanted to partner with a like-minded local organisation, to facilitate a carbon mitigation tree planting programme in a hands-on way so that our team could get directly involved, learn more about the natural world and see change in action on their doorstep.
Make it Wild offer all this and so much more, with Helen and Christopher having developed a true passion-project. Their support with our carbon calculations has been invaluable, as has their guidance throughout our endeavour to plant 5,000 trees by 2030 (4,000 of which have already been planted!) Our team were also able to spend a day getting stuck in with conservation work in Bank Woods in North Yorkshire, laying mulch mats at the base of young trees and witnessing first-hand the incredible work Make it Wild do with creating wild spaces, ponds and wildflower meadows.
The holistic approach that Make it Wild has towards nature restoration and protection is nothing short of inspiring, and perfectly aligns with our company ethos around sustainability and the importance of protecting our beautiful planet. We are grateful to have formed such a fantastic local partnership and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend both the organisation and their incredible team; we look forward to working together for many years to come".
