  • We are proud to have recently delivered an engaging educational session to students at Pembrokeshire College, which is near our new Augustus Grange development in Haverfordwest. Our very own Community Development Co-ordinator, Meriel Gough and Marketing and Business Development Co-ordinator, Noorhan Griffiths attended the college and delivered a two-hour session to 35 students who are studying business. The interactive session was about how we implement responsible business practices and covered topics such as health and safety, sustainability and supporting staff, contractors and the local community. Meriel and Noorhan also discussed the importance of partnerships, with reference to our joint work with Pobl Group Group at Augustus Grange. Gemma Clissett , regional partnerships director, said: “We are thrilled that the students enjoyed the session and learnt valuable lessons about business, construction and partnerships. This sector is incredibly rewarding and there are so many different roles and opportunities available, so it’s wonderful to inspire future colleagues with sessions such as this.” #lovell #lovellpartnerships #lovellhomes #newhomes #communityengagement

  • Our young people are the future, and it’s our responsibility to provide opportunities for them. We’re working closely with Newport City Homes and the Ringland Regeneration team to spread some festive joy this Christmas, by providing hampers and presents to schools and students across the region. We’re also working with schools in the Midlands, delivering cards and gifts to pupils, too. Cash for Kids’ Mission Christmas Appeal is another initiative that we’re supporting. Mission Christmas focuses on improving the lives of children affected by poverty, illness, neglect, or additional needs, making sure they experience a little Christmas magic. We’ll continue working with our partners – and Santa (and his elves) - to spread our message of hope and opportunity for all this festive season. #YouthHope #SpreadingHope #ChristmasCheer

  • Lovell in Scotland has recently received the internationally renowned Health and Safety Award from The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) for the 20th consecutive year. Julia Small, RoSPA's Achievements Director, said: "We congratulate Lovell for again winning the prestigious RoSPA Award and showing an unwavering commitment to keeping employees, clients and customers safe from accidental harm and injury." William Lindsay, Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager at Lovell in Scotland, said, "Health and safety is central to everything we do and we're honoured to have our dedication recognised once again. Our open-door policy encourages staff and subcontractors to approach management freely, enabling them to discuss health and safety matters and voice concerns. This approach creates a culture where employees feel empowered to contribute their ideas and play an active role in maintaining a safe workplace.” You can read more about it here: https://ow.ly/XzcT50Uu2LI #SafetyCulture #TheLovellWay #SafetyFirst #WorkplaceWellness

  • We're proud of our support of our veterans through a range of initiatives and opportunities provided up and down the country. This Christmas we have seen our first cohorts of veterans graduating through our partnership with Building Heroes. We are also incredibly proud of the second group of cohorts on our Veteran Build Experience at Drummond Park who have now graduated from their year-long work placements. All the graduates have accessed career support, on-site experience, workplace training and can now look at a career in the housing industry. At Drummond Park in partnership with Alabaré there has also been the opportunity to secure a new affordable home that they have helped to build. We're looking forward to supporting more graduates through our ex-military support programmes in 2025. #SupportOurVeterans #LifeAfterService #HelpingVeteransThrough

  • We’re delighted to have been appointed as the development partner for the regeneration of the Grahame Park estate by Barnet Council! Our joint venture partnership will enable us to deliver affordable homes, new community facilities, as well as investing £500,000 into improving Heybourne Park. We’re excited to work together and accelerate the regeneration of the area, which is aimed at tackling the local homelessness crisis, while at the same time providing high-quality homes for existing residents. Mary Parsons, our National Regeneration and Partnerships Director, said: “Lovell is delighted to be selected by Barnet Council as its joint venture partner for the regeneration of the north east of Grahame Park. “It is not only the delivery of much-needed new homes at scale and pace within an already ambitious regeneration programme, but the chance to work with the local community, partners and groups, to ensure we create real opportunities for education, employment and local enterprise.” You can read more about it here: https://lnkd.in/eypj4XcS #LovellPartnerships #JointVenture #Regeneration #Housing #Communities

  • We want to support those experiencing or facing homelessness. So, this year we’ve partnered with Mustard Tree for its Christmas campaign; Mustard Tree is seeking funding to recruit an additional case worker to provide more support to those in need. Our team headed over to the Single Homeless Project in London, to redecorate the hostel and breathe new life to a building that provides a vital service for homeless people in the city. We’re partnering with Oasis Community Housing on the Gingerbread Street competition, which is a design challenge that raises money to help prevent homelessness in the region. TV’s own George Clarke was a member of the panel judging the winning gingerbread house design. #LetsEndHomelessness #HowWeAreHelping #TheLovellWay

  • What really matters to us is delivering a lasting positive impact, by supporting our people and communities. This Christmas, our teams across the country have been lending a hand supporting foodbanks, such as the South London Appeal, the Hertfordshire Appeal, and the Central London Appeal, where we’ve provided boxes of food for those in need. We’ve also donned our festive finery for Save the Children, which helps to feed young people, provides opportunities to learn, and be in a safe environment. We supported the Meadowlane Primary School and Norris Green Community Alliance’s Santa’s Sleigh, donating selection boxes which Father Christmas himself distributed to children across our communities. We donated raffle prizes for Milton Primary’s PTA Christmas Fayre to help raise much needed funds. We’re also donating to the Norfolk Hospice Tapping House Light Up A Life Campaign, to provide much-needed funds to a charity that does amazing work for families across East Anglia. #PeopleAndCommunities #LastingImpact #AmazingWork

  • The Villers was celebrated as a top large residential scheme in the East Midlands at the ProCon Leicestershire Awards. Our East Midlands team had the pleasure of celebrating The Villers development at the influential regional awards ceremony recently, following its shortlisting within the Large Residential Scheme of the Year category. Being delivered alongside emh group the 78-home development in Whetstone Leicestershire, exemplifies the positive effects that strong partnerships can have when developing with the community in mind. The essential brownfield regeneration showcased at The Villers is a key example of both the growth and quality in housing that we are continually striving to achieve across the East Midlands. Congratulations to all the winners of the various prestigious awards. Beth Bundonis Lewis Charity #PROCONAWARDS #EastMidlands #Regeneration
