💚 Supporting Ferne Animal Sanctuary 🐕 We recently held a collection to support Ferne Animal Sanctuary with donations from colleagues and the local community. Items like food, toys, and bedding will help the rescue care for their animals. With financial challenges impacting the sanctuary, this was a cause close to our hearts, especially as many of us have adopted pets from them. 📸 Here’s our Risk & Compliance team with the donations! We’re passionate about making a difference through the Movement for Good Awards, The Benefact Group’s annual programme of giving. 💙 As insurance partners of the British Dental Association, we invited members to nominate charities close to their hearts for a chance to win a share of £10,000. Talbot Road Dental Practice chose Parkinson's UK a charity that provides life-changing support for people living with Parkinson’s. Tony Hillier, who runs two local Parkinson’s support groups in Neath and Port Talbot, shared his heartfelt thanks for the nomination. Tony’s groups provide a welcoming space for people with Parkinson’s to connect and receive support. Despite being part of Parkinson’s UK, Tony’s groups are self-funded, relying on small fees, raffles, and donations to stay active. “The laughter during meetings and meals make our roles so worthwhile.” With funds raised through initiatives like the Movement for Good Awards, groups like Tony’s can continue to make a meaningful difference in their communities.
