Liminal Coaching works with executives, management, & rising talent to optimize their brain and mind in order to be creative, productive, and fully present in all areas of their lives. Our approach to executive coaching is founded on wide ranging studies complimented by a knowledge of human nature gained through global experience and applied practice. Lately, founder Mike Parker has incorporated developments in neuroscience and the Liminal Thinking principles and practices established by management consultant and author Dave Gray. Our direct and subtle method combines visualization, relaxation, and metaphoric scenario techniques to help clients clarify their personal, professional, and organizational goals. Our non-prescriptive approach helps clients release themselves from ingrained intellectual and emotional thought patterns/ frameworks. As their perception shifts and stress is released, clients report an intellectual, mental, and emotional clarity when they consider the areas they wish to change. It frees them to make cooler, more thoughtful decisions. It also often releases pent up creative resources.

  • We’ve discovered that people with ADHD and ASD have some common issues that are more about their social and cultural environment than any particular aspect of their Neurodivergence. In this way, they are in a similar position to many people suffering from isolation or sidelining due to differences such as gender, disability, sexual orientation, race, or other factors. We believe that contextual and environmental factors are largely ignored in most coaching practices. This means many people do not get much support in managing the day-to-day reality of their situation, or the support they do get may not be effective. If people don’t get the support and tools they need, this can lead to a variety of undesirable outcomes, which can include burnout, breakdown, panic attacks, overwhelm, and even physical problems. The bad news is that society and culture are not going to change overnight. The good news is that you can take steps to reduce the impact on you or those you care about. The first step in obtaining support is to acknowledge the impact of your environment so that you can identify the tools to help you manage its effects. After speaking to our clients, we identified the following common issues: - Energetic drain from constant Masking - Stress from experiencing Micro-Aggressions - Self-doubt when behaviors are seen as problematic This list is by no means exhaustive but aims to provide some starting points for further conversations. -= An Open Invitation =- In response to the feedback we received from our clients, we are developing some material to specifically help people with the issues mentioned above.
